Chicken khaosay


Ingredients
  • Boneless chicken ½ kg cut into small cubes
  • Onion 1 large blended
  • Green chilies 12 blended
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp heaped
  • Chili powder 1 tsp heaped
  • Coconut milk powder ½ cup mixed in 2 cups water
  • Spaghetti boiled 1 packet
  • Roasted gram flour 5 tbsp heaped
  • Oil ¾ cup
  • Accompaniments
  • Garlic fried crushed 3 tbsp
  • Spaghetti fried 1 cup
  • Crushed red chilies as required
  • Boiled eggs chopped 2
  • Green chilies chopped 4
  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Green onion chopped ½ cup
  • Brown onion chopped ½ cup
  • Lemon slices as required
Method
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add blended onions and green chilies .Fry well.Add ginger garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric and salt. Add chicken cubes fry for 5 minutes add 2 cups water, mix gram flour into a paste with 2 cups water add to the chicken mixture and stir well.
  • Cook till the mixture begins to boil and the gravy thickens.Lastly add coconut milk, boil for 5 minutes and remove. Serve hot with boiled spaghetti and accompaniments.
