Yogurt Fruit Pudding


Ingredients
  • Yogurt 1 kg
  • Orange 1
  • Fruit cocktail 1 cup
  • Saffron a pinch
  • Water 1 cup
  • China grass ½ packet
  • Pineapples 3 – 4 slices
  • Banana 3 – 4
  • Sugar 5 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 – 2 drops
  • Muslin cloth as required
Method
  • Hang yogurt in a muslin cloth to remove extra water.Put yogurt in a bowl, add 5 tbsp sugar and 1 – 2 drops of vanilla essence. Mix well and keep aside.In a pan cook ½ packet of china grass with 1 cup water. When it is dissolved add this mixture to the yogurt. Also add a pinch of saffron.
  • Cut 3 – 4 bananas into slices, add to the yogurt with pineapple chunks and 1 cup fruit cocktail.Mix well and dish it out. Garnish with orange slices and serve chilled.
