Yogurt Fruit Pudding
Ingredients
- Yogurt 1 kg
- Orange 1
- Fruit cocktail 1 cup
- Saffron a pinch
- Water 1 cup
- China grass ½ packet
- Pineapples 3 – 4 slices
- Banana 3 – 4
- Sugar 5 tbsp
- Vanilla essence 1 – 2 drops
- Muslin cloth as required
Method
- Hang yogurt in a muslin cloth to remove extra water.Put yogurt in a bowl, add 5 tbsp sugar and 1 – 2 drops of vanilla essence. Mix well and keep aside.In a pan cook ½ packet of china grass with 1 cup water. When it is dissolved add this mixture to the yogurt. Also add a pinch of saffron.
- Cut 3 – 4 bananas into slices, add to the yogurt with pineapple chunks and 1 cup fruit cocktail.Mix well and dish it out. Garnish with orange slices and serve chilled.
