Italian chicken in lemon sauce
Ingredients
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Garlic 1 tsp crushed
- Mushrooms 4 sliced
- Chicken breast 2 thinly sliced
- Salt ½ tsp
- Black pepper ½ tsp
- Column 2
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Cream ½ cup
- Green onion leaves finely chopped 2 tbsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Crushed black pepper ½ tsp
- Corn flour 1 tbsp
- Water ½ cup
Method
- Heat butter and oil in a pan fry crushed garlic till light golden add chicken with salt and pepper ½ tsp each, fry for 5 minutes add sliced mushrooms, with all the rest in column 2 Lemon juice 2 tbsp, Cream ½ cup, Green onion leaves finely chopped 2 tbsp, Salt ½ tsp, Crushed black pepper ½ tsp, Corn flour 1 tbsp, Water ½ cup, cook till thick, remove, and serve over a bead of boiled pasta or with garlic bread.
