Bihari Kabab
Ingredients
- Beef undercut ½ kg
- Green chilies ground 3 – 5
- Mint leaves ¼ bunch
- Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
- Ghee / oil ¼ cup
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Dry fenugreek leaves 1 tsp
- Chili powder 1 tbsp
- Crushed red pepper 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Poppy seeds 2 tbsp
- Raw papaya paste 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method
- Cut ½ kg undercut into thin long slices. If leg piece is used marinate meat slices with salt to taste and 3 tbsp raw papaya paste for 10 to 15 minutes.Now marinate meat with 2 tbsp poppy seeds, 3 – 5 ground green chilies, 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tbsp crushed red pepper, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp dry fenugreek leaves, salt to taste, ¼ bunch of coriander leaves, ¼ bunch of mint leaves and keep aside for 10 – 15 minutes.
- Now thread each slice in metal skewers in zigzag style, now grill on burning coal from both sides until golden brown.Brush with a little butter during bar BQ.
