Masaly Waly Wady
Ingredients
- Potatoes (boiled and coarsely chopped) 4
- Salt 1 tsp leveled
- Mint leaves chopped 1 tbsp
- Pomegranate seeds crushed 2 tsp
- Lemon juice 2 tsp
- Crushed red pepper 2 tsp
- All spice ½ tsp
- Chat Masala ½ tsp
- Brown onion crushed 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
Ingredients for Batter
- Gram flour 1 cup
- Salt ¼ tsp
- Baking soda ¼ tsp
- Water as required
Method for Batter
- In bowl mix 1 cup gram flour, ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp baking soda and water as required to form into a thick smooth batter.
Method for Filling
- In a bowl mix 4 boiled coarsely chopped potatoes, 2 tsp crushed pomegranate seeds, 2 tsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp crushed brown onion, 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, 1 tbsp chopped mint leaves, 2 tsp crushed red pepper, ½ tsp all spice, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp Chaat Masala and make into balls, dip in prepared gram flour batter and deep fry.
