Chicken pie


Ingredients
  • Boneless chicken ½ kg cut in cubes
  • Onion ½ cup chopped
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Green chilies grinded 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Tomato 1 chopped
  • Sweet corn ½ cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Mustard powder ½ tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Crushed red pepper ½ tsp
  • Oil ¼ cup
Ingredient for white sauce
  • Flour 3 tbsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Stock 1 cup
  • Salt, black pepper and mustard ½ tsp each
Ingredients for garnishing
  • Boiled eggs 2
  • Potatoes 2 cut into round slices and fry light golden
  • Spring onion finely chopped 2 tbsp
  • Eggs 2 raw
  • Bread crumbs 4 tbsp
Method
  • Heat oil fry onion transparent; add boneless cubes of chicken, with Onion ½ cup chopped, Garlic paste 1 tsp, Green chilies grinded 1 tbsp, Vinegar 1 tbsp, Tomato 1 chopped, Salt 1 tsp, Mustard powder ½ tsp, Black pepper ½ tsp, Crushed red pepper ½ tsp, cook till water dries and chicken tender add sweet corn. In a serving dish spread chicken mixture, cover with white sauce, arrange top with fried potato slices, eggs slices, chopped green onion, top with beaten eggs and spread with 4 tbsp of bread crumbs dot with 2 tbsp oil, bake for 15 minutes till light golden.
