Rice and Spice
Ingredients
- 2 cups boiled rice
- A pinch of yellow color
- 50 grams butter
- 1 tsp crushed black pepper
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 tsp sliced green chilies
- ½ tsp salt
Ingredients for Spicy Chicken
- 300 grams boneless chicken cubes
- ½ beaten egg
- 1 cup chicken stock
- ½ cup tomato ketchup
- ½ cup chili garlic sauce
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp crushed black pepper
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- 4 tbsp oil
Method
- Sauté 1 tsp cumin seeds in 50 grams pre heated butter.When spice gets fragrant, add 2 cups boiled rice, 2 tsp sliced green chilies, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp crushed black pepper and a pinch of yellow color and mix.
- Also add 1 glass of water and allow simmering for 5 minutes.For spicy chicken, mix 300 grams boneless chicken cubes with 2 tbsp corn flour, ½ tsp crushed black pepper, ¼ tsp salt, ½ tsp red chili powder and ½ beaten egg.
- Fry coated chicken cubes 4 tbsp heated oil.When chicken cubes get golden brown, shift them from frying pan to a cooking pot.
- Now add 1 cup chicken stock, 1 tsp red chili flakes, ½ tsp salt, ½ cup tomato ketchup and ½ cup chili garlic sauce. Cook until the mixture is thick. Then take off the flame and serve with rice.
