Khubani ka meetha


Ingredients
  • Dry apricots 1/2kg
  • Water 1litre
  • Milk 1/2litre
  • Cream 1/2cup
  • Sugar 250g
  • Crushed almonds 15-20
  • Vanilla custard 3tbsp
Method
  1. Deseed the dry apricots, cut them into two halves and cook until they are tender.In saucepan heat 1 liter water along with 250 g of sugar until syrup is formed.In a blender blend together the sugar syrup and cooked apricots. 
  2. Pour into a dish.Prepare the vanilla custard and pour the apricot puree on top.Beat 1/2cup of cream and pour over the apricots.Garnish with 15-20 slivered almonds and serve.
