Khubani ka meetha
Ingredients
- Dry apricots 1/2kg
- Water 1litre
- Milk 1/2litre
- Cream 1/2cup
- Sugar 250g
- Crushed almonds 15-20
- Vanilla custard 3tbsp
Method
- Deseed the dry apricots, cut them into two halves and cook until they are tender.In saucepan heat 1 liter water along with 250 g of sugar until syrup is formed.In a blender blend together the sugar syrup and cooked apricots.
- Pour into a dish.Prepare the vanilla custard and pour the apricot puree on top.Beat 1/2cup of cream and pour over the apricots.Garnish with 15-20 slivered almonds and serve.
