Yellow Lentil Soup


Ingredients
  • Yellow Lentil 1 cup
  • Water 4glass
  • Green chilies 2
  • Finely chopped parsley 1tbsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2tsp
  • Vinegar 2tbsp
Method
  1. Soak 1cup of yellow lentils in a bowl of water for 4 hours.Now wash it and drain. In a saucepan, cook the lentils in 4 glasses of water on low flame till it gets tender. Allow it to cool down, and then blend in a blender.
  2. Now cook it again till the lentils thicken. Turn the stove off. Now mix 1/2 tsp black pepper and half tsp salt in it.In another bowl take 2 tbsp vinegar and 2 finely chopped green chilies.
  3. Dish the soup out.Garnish with 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley and green chilies and serve with the vinegar.
