Rabri Kheer
Ingredients
- 2 kg milk
- 250 grams whole dried milk
- 1 tin condensed milk
- 1 cup rice
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp kewra
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp almonds
- 2 tbsp pistachios
- A silver paper
Method
- Wash 1 cup rice properly and soak for 4 hours. Then crush in a blender and keep aside.In a cooking pot, allow 2 kg milk to cook on low flame. Add crushed rice after a while and cook until milk has thickened.
- Now add ½ cup sugar, 1 tin condensed milk and ½ tsp cardamom powder and let it cook.When water has dried up, add 1 tbsp kewra, 250 grams whole dried milk, 2 tbsp almonds and 2 tbsp pistachios and turn off the flame.Garnish with a silver paper and serve tempting Rabri Kheer.
