Dinner Roll
Ingredients
- ½ kg plain flour
- 1 egg
- ½ cup dry milk
- 100 grams butter
- 1 tsp yeast
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp ground sugar
- Sesame seeds as required
- Onion seeds as required
- Warm water as required
Method
- In a bowl, add ½ kg plain flour, 1 tsp yeast, 4 tbsp ground sugar, ½ cup dried milk, ¼ tsp salt, 1 egg, and 100 grams butter and mix. Knead into fine dough with warm water as required and keep aside for 2 hours.
- Then divide kneaded dough into 6 equal portions and form a different shape of each portion. Dissolve 2 tbsp sugar in some water and brush it on the dough.
- Also sprinkle onion seeds and sesame seeds as required. Keep covered for half an hour. Now bake in a pre heated oven at 200 c for half an hour. Dinner Roll is ready to serve.
