Dinner Roll


Ingredients
  • ½ kg plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup dry milk
  • 100 grams butter
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp ground sugar
  • Sesame seeds as required
  • Onion seeds as required
  • Warm water as required
Method
  1. In a bowl, add ½ kg plain flour, 1 tsp yeast, 4 tbsp ground sugar, ½ cup dried milk, ¼ tsp salt, 1 egg, and 100 grams butter and mix. Knead into fine dough with warm water as required and keep aside for 2 hours. 
  2. Then divide kneaded dough into 6 equal portions and form a different shape of each portion. Dissolve 2 tbsp sugar in some water and brush it on the dough. 
  3. Also sprinkle onion seeds and sesame seeds as required. Keep covered for half an hour. Now bake in a pre heated oven at 200 c for half an hour. Dinner Roll is ready to serve.
