Arabic Bread Pudding


Ingredients
  • 6 slices of bread
  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 1 cup apricots
  • 50 grams almonds
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 packet cream
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp kewra
  • ½ tsp saffron
  • 2 tbsp orange skin
Method
  1. Cut 6 slices of bread into round shape and fry. Finely slice 1 cup apricots and boil in a cup of water until all water dries up. In a cooking pot, add 1 tin condensed milk, ½ tsp saffron and 1 tbsp rose essence and allow to cook. 
  2. Then pour a packet of cream on a tray. Place fried bread pieces on it and pour prepared milk mixture on top of it. Sprinkle apricots, orange slices and 50 grams chopped almonds on it. Delicious Arabic Bread Pudding is ready to serve.
