White Sheet Cake


Ingredients
  • 100 grams butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp almond essence
Ingredients for frosting
  • 50 grams butter
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup caster sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
Method
  1. In a bowl, add 100 grams butter, 1 cup sugar, 4 beaten eggs, ½ tsp almond essence, ½ cup milk and ½ cup sour cream and beat well. Then add 1 tsp baking powder and 1 cup plain flour and mix. Pour the mixture on a greased oven proof tray and bake in a pre heated oven at 200 c for 20 minutes. 
  2. For frosting, add ½ cup milk, 50 grams butter, ½ cup caster sugar and ½ tsp vanilla essence to a bowl and beat well. When cake sponge is cooler, pour the frosting on top and serve tempting White Sheet Cake.
