Sindhi Chicken Handi
Ingredients
- ½ kg boneless chicken
- ½ kg tomatoes
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 3 to 4 green chilies
- ½ bunch fresh coriander
- ½ cup oil
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp dry fenugreek
- 2 tsp cumin seeds
Method
- Coat ½ kg boneless chicken with 6 cloves of garlic, 2 tsp cumin seeds, 3 to 4 green chilies, and 1 tsp salt. Keep aside for half an hour. In a cooking pot, heat ½ cup oil and add ½ kg finely sliced tomatoes.
- Allow cooking for 10 minutes and then add 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp dry fenugreek and 1 tsp turmeric powder and stir for some time.
- Cover the pan to let chicken cook for 20 minutes. The stir and add ½ kg finely sliced fresh coriander. Sindhi Chicken Handi is ready to serve.
