Sindhi Chicken Handi


Ingredients
  • ½ kg boneless chicken
  • ½ kg tomatoes
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 3 to 4 green chilies
  • ½ bunch fresh coriander
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp dry fenugreek
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
Method
  1. Coat ½ kg boneless chicken with 6 cloves of garlic, 2 tsp cumin seeds, 3 to 4 green chilies, and 1 tsp salt. Keep aside for half an hour. In a cooking pot, heat ½ cup oil and add ½ kg finely sliced tomatoes.
  2. Allow cooking for 10 minutes and then add 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp dry fenugreek and 1 tsp turmeric powder and stir for some time. 
  3. Cover the pan to let chicken cook for 20 minutes. The stir and add ½ kg finely sliced fresh coriander. Sindhi Chicken Handi is ready to serve.
