Omelet Curry

Omelet Curry


Ingredients
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • 2 potatoes
  • 250 grams yogurt
  • Few curry leaves
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup peas
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp crushed cumin
  • ¼ tsp carom seeds
  • 2 tbsp red chili powder
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • Salt to taste
Method
  1. Firstly beat 4 eggs properly. Add pinch of salt and 3 tbsp flour in it and keep it aside. Slice 4 potatoes into small pieces. Finely chop 1 onion and 4 cloves of garlic. Cook together, chopped garlic cloves, pieces of potatoes and ½ cup of peas.
  2. Include 50 grams yogurt and 1 cup water in it. Add 2 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tbsp turmeric powder, and 1 tbsp crushed cumin, ¼ tsp carom seeds, few leaves of curry leaves and salt to taste and allow simmering. 
  3. In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and fry egg mixture in a form of omelet from both sides until it is golden. And if the mixture is left, fry it in the similar way and keep it aside. 
  4. When potatoes are properly cooked, increase flames until water has dried. Slice omelet into square pieces and add it in the pan and stir it properly for 1 to 2 minutes. 
  5. Delicious Omelet Curry is ready to serve.
