Chocolate Cheese Cake
Ingredients
- Chocolate biscuits crushed 2 cups
- Melted butter 3 ounces
- Ingredients for Filling
- Curd cheese 1 cup
- Eggs 3 separated
- Butter 1 ounce
- Icing sugar 2 ounce
- Caster sugar 5 ounce
- Fresh cream whipped 8 ounces
- Chocolate icing 100 gm
- Cooking chocolate 100 gm
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Gelatin powder 2 tbsp heaped
- Butter cream icing for decoration
Method
- In pan cook 100 gm cooking chocolate with 2 tbsp cream till chocolate melts. Crush 2 cups biscuits, mix with 3 ounces melted butter, spread in a 8 inch loose bottom pan, bake for 10 minutes and remove, dissolve 2 tbsp gelatin in ¼ cup water, cook in a sauce pan, cook 3 eggs yolks and 2 ounce caster sugar till smooth, cool add 1 cup curd cheese, 2 tbsp lemon juice, beat well, add dissolved gelatin, fold in the 8 ounces whipped cream, beat 3 egg white stiff with remaining 3 ounces of sugar, fold in softly, spread mixture on the biscuit base, chill for 2 hours, pour chocolate icing on top. Decorate top with butter icing. Serve chilled.
