Chicken Shashlik
Ingredients
- ½ kg chicken boneless
- 2 capsicum cut into cubes
- 2 tomatoes cut into cubes
- 2 onions cut into cubes
- 6 shashlik sticks
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp mustard paste
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 tbsp oil
- 2 cups chicken stock
- ½ cup tomato ketchup
- 2 green chilies
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sliced garlic
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp oil
Method
- In a bowl, add ½ kg chicken boneless, 2 capsicum cut into cubes, 2 tomatoes cut into cubes, 2 onions cut into cubes, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp mustard paste, ½ tsp black pepper, ½ tsp salt and 2 tbsp lemon juice.
- Mix together so that chicken is properly coated with other ingredients. Insert equal proportion of chicken and vegetables in shashlik sticks and grill on a grill pan. Grease with oil as required.
- In a cooking pot, add 2 tbsp oil and 2 cups chicken stock. Also add 1 tsp red chili flakes, 2 sliced green chilies, 2 tbsp vinegar, 1 tsp sugar and ½ cup tomato ketchup.
- When all ingredients are well combined, add corn flour dissolved in some water and stir together. Turn off the flame and pour sauce over Chicken Shashlik and serve.
