Chicken Qandhari Kofta
Ingredients
- ½ kg chicken mince
- 1 cup crushed onion
- 1 cup tomato puree
- ½ cup cream
- ½ cup oil
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp hot spices powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds
- 1 tbsp crushed cashew nuts
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- Coriander and green chilies for garnishing
Method
- In ½ kg chicken mince, add 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds. ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp red chili powder, ½ tsp hot spices powder, ½ tsp cardamom powder, ½ tsp cinnamon powder and 1 tbsp crushed cashew nuts in it and mix it properly. Form the mixture into small balls.
- Heat oil in a pan and include 1 cup crushed onion, 1 tsp red chili powder, ½ tsp salt, 2 tsp coriander powder and 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and stir it well. Add koftay and 1 cup tomato puree and stir it properly and include water in it and keep aside.
- When meat has been cooked, add ½ tsp hot spices powder, green chilies and coriander as required and turn off the stove. Take is out in a dish and garnish it with cream before serving.
