Black Forest Cake
Ingredients
- 200 grams plain flour
- 200 grams sugar
- 8 eggs
- ½ tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
Ingredients for filling
- 50 grams cream
- 50 grams cooking chocolate
- 1 cup peaches
- 1 cup pineapple
- 1 cup cherries
- ½ cup pineapple juice
- ½ tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp sugar
Method
- In a bowl, add 200 grams sugar and 8 eggs and beat well. Now add 200 grams plain flour, 2 tbsp cocoa powder and ½ tsp vanilla essence and fold. Bake in a pre heated oven at 200 c for 30 minutes.
- For filling, add 50 grams cream and 2 tbsp sugar to a bowl and beat well. Then add ½ tsp vanilla essence to it and mix.
- Cut cake into half from the width and pour pineapple juice and cream on the inside top portion. Also add a cup of peaches and a cup of pineapple.
- Place the other cake slice on top of it and garnish with cream, melted chocolate and cherries. Black Forest Cake is ready to serve.
