Beef Steak with White Sauce


Ingredients
  • 500 grams beef steak
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Worchester sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard paste
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
Ingredients for white sauce
  • 50 grams white butter
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1 ½ cup milk
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp plain flour
  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Boiled mix vegetables as required
Method
  1. Mix 500 grams beef steak with 1 tsp garlic paste, 1 tbsp Worchester sauce, 1 tbsp mustard paste, ½ tsp black pepper, ½ tsp salt and 4 tbsp lemon juice. Keep in refrigerator overnight. Grease a pan with some oil and fry beef steak from sides for 5 minutes each. 
  2. For white sauce, heat 50 grams clarified butter and stir 1 tbsp plain flour in it. Then add 1 ½ cup milk, ½ tsp black pepper, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp oregano, 1 cup chopped mushrooms and 1 tbsp parmesan cheese and cook until sauce reaches desired consistency. 
  3. Turn off the flame and add 1 tbsp lemon juice. On a serving platter, place beef steak, pour white sauce and top with boiled mix vegetables. Beef Steak with White Sauce is ready to serve.
