Steam Rice


Ingredients
  • 300 grams rice
  • 2 spring onions
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • Water to requirement
  • Salt to taste
Method
  1. Soak 300 grams rice in water. Finely slice 2 spring onions. In a pan, add some water and 4 tbsp butter. When butter is melted, add finely sliced spring onion and salt to taste. Then add boiled rice and stir together. 
  2. When rice is 2/3 cooked, strain away excess water. Then put rice again in the pot to allow simmering for 3 to 4 minutes. Delicious Steam Rice is ready to serve.
