Chinese Chicken


Ingredients
  • 1 whole chicken with skin
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 spring onions
  • 6 aniseeds
  • 10 cloves
  • 4 to 5 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 glasses of water
  • 50 grams ginger
  • ½ cup Worchester sauce
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste
Method
  1. In a pan, add 6 glasses of water, 1 cup honey, ½ cup Worchester sauce, 2 spring onions, 6 aniseeds, 10 cloves, 4 to 5 cinnamon sticks, 50 grams ginger, 1 tbsp black pepper and salt to taste and boil. When water comes to a boil, add 1 whole chicken with skin. 
  2. When chicken is ready, take it out of the pan carefully. In a separate pan, fry boiled chicken until it turns golden brown. Chinese Chicken is ready to serve.
