Chinese Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken with skin
- 1 cup honey
- 2 spring onions
- 6 aniseeds
- 10 cloves
- 4 to 5 cinnamon sticks
- 6 glasses of water
- 50 grams ginger
- ½ cup Worchester sauce
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Method
- In a pan, add 6 glasses of water, 1 cup honey, ½ cup Worchester sauce, 2 spring onions, 6 aniseeds, 10 cloves, 4 to 5 cinnamon sticks, 50 grams ginger, 1 tbsp black pepper and salt to taste and boil. When water comes to a boil, add 1 whole chicken with skin.
- When chicken is ready, take it out of the pan carefully. In a separate pan, fry boiled chicken until it turns golden brown. Chinese Chicken is ready to serve.
