Chinese Beef Steak
Ingredients
- ½ kg beef undercut
- 1 onion
- 1 spring onion
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp Worchester sauce
- 1 tbsp soya sauce
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp crushed black pepper
- 4 tbsp oil
- 4 cloves of garlic
- ½ cup water
- 1 tbsp corn flour
Method
- Slice ½ kg beef undercut in steak form. Cut out rings from 1 onion and slice spring onion into diamond shape. Chop garlic into small pieces and fry until golden brown.
- Then add beef and stir until excess water evaporates. Then add all vegetables, sauces and spices and cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Then add water and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- When water begins to boil, thicken the mixture with corn flour. When gravy reaches your desired consistency, Chinese Chicken Steak is ready to serve.
