Meat Dry Fruit Pulao


Ingredients
  • ½ kg rice
  • 200 grams boneless chicken
  • 1 apple
  • 1 dry mango
  • 2 onions
  • 6 aniseeds
  • 4 to 5 green chilies
  • ½ cup clarified butter
  • 50 grams raisins
  • 50 grams plums
  • 50 grams munaqqa
  • 100 grams dates
  • 250 grams dry apricots
  • 2 tbsp fennel seeds
  • 2 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 2 tbsp kewra
  • A piece of cotton cloth
  • Salt to taste
Method
  1. Soak 1 apple, 1 dry mango, 50 grams raisins, 50 grams plums, 50 grams munaqqa, 100 grams dates and 250 grams dry apricots for 10 to 15 minutes. Finely slice 2 onions. In a piece of cloth, place 2 tbsp coriander seeds and 2 tbsp fennel seeds and tie ends into a knot. 
  2. In a cooking pot, add ½ cup clarified butter, 200 grams chicken, spices pouch, 6 aniseeds and 4 to 5 green chilies and allow cooking on medium flame. Add ½ kg soaked rice after 2 to 3 minutes. Also add 1 ¼ glass of water and salt to taste and allow cooking. 
  3. Then add dry fruits and 2 tbsp kewra and mix together. Allow simmering for 8 to minutes. Delicious Meat Dry Fruit Pulao is ready to serve.
