Beef Steak with Brown Sauce
Ingredients
- ½ kg undercut beef
- 1 onion
- Juice of 2 lemons
- ½ cup oil
- ½ cup plain flour
- ¼ cup Worchester sauce
- 1 tbsp mustard paste
- 1 tbsp Worchester sauce
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tbsp H P sauce
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 2 tbsp crushed black pepper
- Salt to taste
Method
- Slice ½ kg beef undercut in steak form and hammer gently. In a separate bowl, add ½ cup oil, juice of 2 lemons, 1 tbsp mustard paste, ¼ cup Worchester sauce, 2 tbsp white vinegar, 2 tbsp H P sauce, 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and 1 ½ tbsp crushed black pepper and mix well.
- Marinate steaks with this paste for 15 to 20 minutes and grill in a grill pan. In a separate pan, sauté ½ cup plain flour and keep aside. Sauté a finely sliced onion until it turns golden brown.
- Then add 1 glass of water, salt to taste, ½ tbsp crushed black pepper and 1 tbsp Worchester sauce and allow cooking until it reaches a boil.
- Now add sautéed flour to thicken the mixture. In a platter, serve steak topped with brown sauce.
