Beef Steak with Brown Sauce


Ingredients
  • ½ kg undercut beef
  • 1 onion
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • ½ cup oil
  • ½ cup plain flour
  • ¼ cup Worchester sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard paste
  • 1 tbsp Worchester sauce
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp H P sauce
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp crushed black pepper
  • Salt to taste
Method
  1. Slice ½ kg beef undercut in steak form and hammer gently. In a separate bowl, add ½ cup oil, juice of 2 lemons, 1 tbsp mustard paste, ¼ cup Worchester sauce, 2 tbsp white vinegar, 2 tbsp H P sauce, 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and 1 ½ tbsp crushed black pepper and mix well. 
  2. Marinate steaks with this paste for 15 to 20 minutes and grill in a grill pan. In a separate pan, sauté ½ cup plain flour and keep aside. Sauté a finely sliced onion until it turns golden brown. 
  3. Then add 1 glass of water, salt to taste, ½ tbsp crushed black pepper and 1 tbsp Worchester sauce and allow cooking until it reaches a boil. 
  4. Now add sautéed flour to thicken the mixture. In a platter, serve steak topped with brown sauce.
