Mac N Cheese


Ingredients
  • Onion finely chopped 1
  • Garlic finely chopped 2 cloves
  • Butter 50 gm
  • Flour 50 gm
  • Cheddar cheese 175 gm
  • Parmesan cheese 50 gm
  • Macaroni 400 gm
  • Salt to taste
  • Milk 700 ml
  • Crushed red chilies to taste
  • Oregano pinch
  • Black pepper to taste
Directions
  1. In a pan heat the butter with a few drops of olive oil then add the garlic and onion and sauté till transparent then add the flour and cook for 3 to 4 minutes then gradually .
  2. Add the milk whisking constantly then season with salt, pepper, grated cheese, crushed red chilies and oregano and stir again till well combined and smooth. 
  3. Add the boiled macaroni and toss well. Place in a greased baking dish and top with cheddar cheese and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden on top and serve with grated parmesan cheese.
