Mac N Cheese
Ingredients
- Onion finely chopped 1
- Garlic finely chopped 2 cloves
- Butter 50 gm
- Flour 50 gm
- Cheddar cheese 175 gm
- Parmesan cheese 50 gm
- Macaroni 400 gm
- Salt to taste
- Milk 700 ml
- Crushed red chilies to taste
- Oregano pinch
- Black pepper to taste
Directions
- In a pan heat the butter with a few drops of olive oil then add the garlic and onion and sauté till transparent then add the flour and cook for 3 to 4 minutes then gradually .
- Add the milk whisking constantly then season with salt, pepper, grated cheese, crushed red chilies and oregano and stir again till well combined and smooth.
- Add the boiled macaroni and toss well. Place in a greased baking dish and top with cheddar cheese and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden on top and serve with grated parmesan cheese.
