Vegetable burger

Ingredients
  • ½ kg Potato
  • 1 Small carrot (cubes)
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 3 to 4 Green chilies
  • ½ cup Green coriander
  • ¼ cup Green peas
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Oil
Ingredients For sauce
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 4 Bun
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Green coriander
  • ¼ cup Mint
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp Water
  • Tomato slice for garnish
  • Cucumber slice for garnish
  • Salad leaves for garnish
Method
  1. Boil ½ kg potatoes and peel the skin. Boil the carrots and green peas. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and sauté 2 chopped garlic cloves. When the aroma is given off, add the potatoes, green peas and carrots.
  2. After a minute put 1 tsp of salt, 3 to 4 green chilies and ¼ cup green coriander chopped. Fry for 5-7 minutes and add 2tbsps of lemon juice. Turn the flame off. 
  3. To prepare the sauce take a blender and add green chilies, 1/4 cup chopped coriander, 1/4 cup mint leaves, 1tbsp lemon juice, 4tbsp water and a pinch of salt. Blend well. Add ¼ cup mayonnaise. 
  4. And mix well. Toast the buns on a griddle or flat pan .Spread the vegetable mixture on one side of the bun followed by the sauce. 
  5. Top with tomato slices, cucumber slices and lettuces leave .Cover with the other bun half and serve.
