Vegetable burger
Ingredients
- ½ kg Potato
- 1 Small carrot (cubes)
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 3 to 4 Green chilies
- ½ cup Green coriander
- ¼ cup Green peas
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Oil
Ingredients For sauce
- 1 pinch Salt
- 4 Bun
- ¼ cup Mayonnaise
- ¼ cup Green coriander
- ¼ cup Mint
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 4 tbsp Water
- Tomato slice for garnish
- Cucumber slice for garnish
- Salad leaves for garnish
Method
- Boil ½ kg potatoes and peel the skin. Boil the carrots and green peas. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and sauté 2 chopped garlic cloves. When the aroma is given off, add the potatoes, green peas and carrots.
- After a minute put 1 tsp of salt, 3 to 4 green chilies and ¼ cup green coriander chopped. Fry for 5-7 minutes and add 2tbsps of lemon juice. Turn the flame off.
- To prepare the sauce take a blender and add green chilies, 1/4 cup chopped coriander, 1/4 cup mint leaves, 1tbsp lemon juice, 4tbsp water and a pinch of salt. Blend well. Add ¼ cup mayonnaise.
- And mix well. Toast the buns on a griddle or flat pan .Spread the vegetable mixture on one side of the bun followed by the sauce.
- Top with tomato slices, cucumber slices and lettuces leave .Cover with the other bun half and serve.
