1. Potato Burger
Ingredients
- 1 kg boiled potatoes
- 2 sliced onions
- 2 lemons
- 2 sliced tomatoes
- 4 sliced green chilies
- 6 to 8 buns
- 1 bunch sliced coriander
- ½ bunch sliced mint
- ½ cup rice flour
- 1 tsp crushed black pepper
- 1 tsp roasted and ground white pepper
- 1 tbsp red chili flakes
- ½ tbsp mustard seeds
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Method
- Mash 1 kg boiled potatoes and add 1 tbsp red chili flakes, 1 tsp crushed black pepper, 1 tsp roasted and ground white pepper, ½ tbsp mustard seeds, juice of 2 lemons, a bunch of sliced fresh coriander, ½ bunch sliced mint, 4 sliced green chilies, salt to taste and ½ cup rice flour.
- Form the mix into kebabs complimenting the size of burgers and shallow fry. Fry bun with some oil till it has a nice golden, crispy layer. Spread tamarind dip on one bun and green dip on another. Place potato patty, onion and tomato slices and serve yummy Potato Burgers.
2. Green Dip
Ingredients
- 1 bunch fresh coriander
- 2 lemons
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 8 green chilies
- Salt to taste
Method
- Add 1 bunch fresh coriander, juice of 2 lemons, 4 cloves of garlic, 8 green chilies and salt to taste to a blender and blend well. Green Dip is ready.
3. Tamarind Dip
Ingredients
- 125 grams tamarind
- 1 cup warm water
- A pinch of black salt
- 1 tbsp roasted and ground white pepper
- 2 tbsp dried ginger
- ½ tbsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
Method
- Add syrup of 125 grams tamarind, 1 cup warm water, a pinch of black pepper, 1 tbsp roasted and ground white pepper, 2 tbsp dried ginger, ½ tbsp red chili powder and salt to taste to a cooking pot . Cook till all ingredients are well combined. Tamarind Dip is ready to serve.
