Bhel Puri
Ingredients
- 4 cups of puff Rice
- 2 cups seow
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 boiled potatoes
- ½ cup chopped carrot
- ½ cup chopped cucumber
- 1tsp turmeric
- Red chili powder to taste
- Salt to taste
- For Green Dip
- 6 green chilies
- ½ bunch coriander
- Lemon juice to taste
- Salt to taste
Ingredients For sweet sour dip
- 1 cup turmeric paste
- ½ cup dates
- 1tbsp brown sugar
- 2tsp red chili powder
- 2tbsp cumin powder
- Salt to taste
Method
- In mixing bowl add ½ cup chopped carrots, 1 chopped onion, 4 cup puff rice, 2 cup seow, ½ cup chopped cucumber, 2 chopped tomato and 2 boiled potato cubes. Now add red chili powder, 1 tsp turmeric and salt to taste mix it well.
- For sweet and sour sauce: In a blender jug add 1 cup tamarind paste, ½ cup dates(without seeds), 2tbsp cumin powder, 2tsp red chili powder, 1 tbsp brown sugar and salt to taste, blend it well. Sauce is ready.
- Green Sauce: In a blender jug add 6 green chilies, ½ bunch coriander, lemon juice as u preferred and salt to taste blend it well. Green sauce is ready.
- For Serving: In a serving dish place bhail puri and pour both the sauces and serve it.
