Lebanese Chicken Wings with Cilantro


Ingredients
  • 24 chicken wings with skin
  • 3/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 large head of garlic, peeled and crushed
  • Bunch of cilantro, finely chopped
  • 4 chiles, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced garlic chives
  • 1/2 Kg medium type tomatoes, dice
  • 2 tsp freshly cracked black peppertions
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt
Directions
  1. Rinse the chicken wings in cold water and drain. Heat the oil in a pan and shallow fry the wings, until golden brown and almost tender and cooked .
  2. Add all other ingredients ,crushed garlic, cilantro, chilies,tomatoes,garlic chives , and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.and cover the cooking pan for five minutes .
  3. Transfer the chicken wings to a serving dish and drizzle with the cooking juice. Garnish with lettuce leaves, and lemon wedges.
