- 1 kg Fish
- 1 cup Gram flour
- 1 tbsp Red chili flakes
- 4 to 6 Lemons
- 1 tsp White cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Garam Masala pwd
- Salt to taste
- 3 cups Boiled rice water
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp Rice flour
- Oil as required
Directions
- Marinate fish pieces with one table spoon white vinegar. After 10 minutes, wash well with cold water. In a bowl, add gram flour, red chili flakes, garam Masala powder, white cumin seeds, salt, and rice flour and mix well.
- Add turmeric powder and 3 lemon’s juice to boiled rice water and cut the remaining lemons into two halves.
- Now dip each fish piece into boiled rice water and apply gram flour mixture on it with the help of lemons. Keep them aside for half hour.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry all fish pieces on low flame until golden brown. Serve hot.
