Lentils & Chicken Biryani


Ingredients
  • 1 cup Lentils
  • 1 kg Rice
  • 1 kg Chicken
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 8 Green chili
  • 4 Onion
  • 6 Lemon
  • 1 bunch Mint
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp White vinegar
  • 4 Green cardamom
  • 1 tsp Black cumin
  • 6 to 7 Black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Butter/ghee
  • 1 cup Oil
Directions
  1. Boil lentils in a pan & strain.Add yogurt, ginger garlic paste, lemon, mint, green chili & salt in the chicken & cook until it’s become dehydrate.
  2. Fry sliced onions in the oil.When onion become golden brown take it out from the oil & pour this oil on the chicken
  3. Boil Rice add mint, cumin, green chili, vinegar & cardamom at the time of rice boiling.Take a huge pan & grease.Put boiled rice layer first than lentils, chicken.
  4. Spread fried onion.Set another layer like this.On the top spread boiled rice, fried onion, lemon juice & butter & put it on high heat steam
  5. After 10 minutes decrease the flame.When it’s become on steam take it out from the heat & serve.
