Sweet and sour prawns
Ingredients
  • 200 grams Prawns
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Chinese salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
Ingredients for gravy
  • ½ cup Ketchup
  • ¼ cup Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1-1/2 cup Water
  • ¼ cup Oil
  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Capsicum
  • 1 Tomato
Directions
  1. In a Bowl add prawns,salt,Chinese salt,egg,flour,corn flour,baking powder,sugar,soya sauce and Marinate for 10-15 mints.
  2. Heat oil and deep fry prawns for 7 to 8 minutes till golden.
Method for gravy
  1. In a pan Add oil and add onion,capsicum,tomato cook for 2 minutes.
  2. Add water , ketchup, vinegar, sugar and cook till boiling.
  3. In a cup take 3tbsp water and add 2tbsp corn flour and mix it well add this in gravy,add fried prawns.
  4. Serve hot.
