Red Meat Recipes

Daal gosht
Ingredients
  • ½ kg Meat
  • 250 grams Yellow lentil
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 2 to 3 Cardamom
  • 5 to 6 Whole red chilli
  • 2 tbsp White cumin powder
  • 2 to 3 Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Black pepper crushed
  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 2 Onion (brown)
  • 1 cup Clarified butter
  • 3 Tomato
  • 5 to 6 Green chilli
  • ½ bunch Green coriander chopped
  • Salt to taste
Directions
  1. Wash the lentils thoroughly. Fill a pan with water and boil the lentils
  2. Now put 1 tbsp turmeric, salt, 2-3 cardamom, 1 tbsp white cumin, 2-3 cinnamon and cook it well.
  3. Take pan, add meat cubes and salt, black pepper crushed 1tsp, garam masala 1tsp, coriander powder 1 tbsp, 2 brown onion and clarified butter 1 cup in pan and cook it well. Now add water and tender meat.
  4. When meat starting to tender add tomato. And when tomato tenders add lentil and cook it till 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. When meat and lentil are mixed together, put fried whole red chilli from top and garnish it with coriander.
  6. Daal gosht is ready to serve.
