Chicken Chukka
Ingredients
- ½ kg Boneless breast
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1 Onion
- 2 Cardamom
- 3 Cloves
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Fennel seeds
- Salt to taste
Ingredients for Paste
- 1 bunch Fresh coriander
- 1 piece Ginger
- 1 Onion
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 6 Green chilies
- 1 cup Yogurt
- ½ cup Oil
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat oil and fry 1 chopped onion till it turns to golden brown in color. Add ½ kg boneless breast with salt to taste. Fry well. Now add in 3 cloves, 2 cardamom, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp fennel seeds and 1 tsp cumin seeds.
- For making paste blend together 1 bunch of coriander leaves, 1 piece of ginger, 1 onion, 4 garlic cloves, 6 green chilies, 1 cup yogurt, ½ cup oil and salt to taste.
- Add the paste to the chicken and cook for 30 minutes on low flame till oil come on top. Serve hot.
