Assorted Canapes ( Tuna fish, Cheese, Egg, Veg, Prawn.)
1. Tuna Fish Canapes
Ingredients
- 3 pcs Slice bread
- 1 tbsp Butter
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 3 tbsp Tuna fish caned
- 3 nos Black olives
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise sauce
Method
- Toast the bread slices, spread the butter on them, take Tuna fish add mayonnaise sauce, pinch of salt & pepper, make paste of it.
- Now make a cone of butter paper, put the Tuna fish paste in the cone, take round cutter, cut the toasted bread slices round shapes. Put tuna paste with help of the cone on the round shape toast as you feel like making design, garnish with olives.
2. Cheese Canapes
Ingredients
- 3 nos Cheddar slice cheese
- 3 nos Bread slices
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise sauce
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 3 nos Olives
Method
- Toast bread slices, spread butter on them, put cheese slices on each toast bread slice, cut them with any shape cutter. Take the reaming cheese mix with mayonnaise sauce add pinch of salt & pepper, put this mix on top of the canapes, garnish with olives.
3. Egg Canapes
Ingredients
- 3 nos Slice bread
- 1 tbsp Butter
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise sauce
- 2 nos Boiled egg
- 1 tbsp Capsicum finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Tomato seedless finely chopped
Method
- Take slice bread, toast them spread butter on it, cut them with any shape cutter you wish to have. Peel the boiled egg from the shell, mashed them finely, add mayonnaise sauce, pinch of salt & pepper. Put egg paste into the butter paper cone & put on the canapes, garnish with some finely chopped capsicum & tomatoes.
4. Prawn Canapes
Ingredients
- 100 gm Prawns kiddy size peeled
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Mayonnaise sauce
- 1 tsp Tomato ketchup
- Green coriander leaves for garnishing
Method
- Blanch kiddy prawns, cool them, mix them with mayonnaise sauce ,tomato ketchup, pinch of salt & pepper.Toast slice breads, spread butter.Cut any shape from cutter, put prawn mix on the canapés. Garnish with green coriander stem.
5. Vegetable Canapes
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Carrot finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Potatoes finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Green pea
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise sauce
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 tsp Dry mint
Method
- Take finely chopped Carrots,finely chopped Potatoes,green pea, blanch them, leave it for cooling.Take mayonnaise sauce adds dry mints, mix it well till it become paste.
- Toast slice bread, spread butter on them, cut the any shape with cutter.Take the blanch mix vegetables, mix with mint mayonnaise paste add pinch of salt & pepper.Put of vegetable mix on the canapés one by one.
6. Chicken Tikka Canapes
Ingredients
- 100 gm Chicken tikka marinated meat breast piece.
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise sauce
- 3 nos Slice bread
- Lettuce couple of leaves.
Method
- Grill marinated chicken tikka on pan grill or plain frying pan.Leave it for cooling, cut thin slice of the grilled chicken tikka meat.Toast slice breads; cut them with cutter any shape. Spread butter on them.
- Put small pieces of lettuce leaves on the canapés, put some mayonnaise sauce on it , put couple of chicken tikka thin slices on it. Chicken tikka canapés is ready. Serve it cold.
Note: Keep the canapes refrigerated, before serving to your guest.
