Malaysian Coconut Candy


Ingredients
  • 3 cup crushed coconut
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 tin condense milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Few drops of green food color
  • Few drops of red food color
  • 100 grams butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
Method
  1. In a pan, cook 2 cups sugar, 1 tin of condensed milk, 1 pinch of salt and ½ tsp vanilla essence together. When sugar has dissolved, add 3 cups crushed coconut and 100 grams butter in it and divide it into two equal halves. 
  2. In one half, add few drops of green food color and in another half add few drops of red food color. Pour both mixtures in a greasy pan individually and when it has frozen, cut into pieces and serve.
