Malaysian Coconut Candy
Ingredients
- 3 cup crushed coconut
- 2 cup sugar
- 1 tin condense milk
- 1 pinch of salt
- Few drops of green food color
- Few drops of red food color
- 100 grams butter
- ½ tsp vanilla essence
Method
- In a pan, cook 2 cups sugar, 1 tin of condensed milk, 1 pinch of salt and ½ tsp vanilla essence together. When sugar has dissolved, add 3 cups crushed coconut and 100 grams butter in it and divide it into two equal halves.
- In one half, add few drops of green food color and in another half add few drops of red food color. Pour both mixtures in a greasy pan individually and when it has frozen, cut into pieces and serve.
