Shola Biryani


Ingredients
  • ½ kg Boiled Rice
  • ½ kg Chicken
  • 250 gm Yogurt
  • 1 Potato
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Capsicum
  • 2 Tomato
  • 2 Lemon
  • 6 Green chilies
  • 1 bunch Mint leaves
  • Yellow color a pinch
  • 1 cup Boiled chickpea
  • ½ cup Oil
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp All spice
  • 2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 Coal
Method
  1. Heat ½ cup oil in pan, add ½ kg chicken, 2 tsp ginger garlic paste and 1 tbsp all spice. Fry well. Now add 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp red chili powder and 2 chopped tomatoes. 
  2. Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Now add 1 potato, 1 carrot, 1 capsicum, 1 cup boiled chickpea and 250 gm whipped yogurt. Now add 2 sliced lemon, 6 green chilies and 1 bunch of mint leaves. 
  3. Make a layer of boiled rice on top. Sprinkle a pinch of yellow color and simmer for 20 minutes. Lastly put a burning coal in pan, drop some oil on it, cover for 1 minute and serve.
